It's GM though. 5th gen was supposed to come out as '07 model. Both the 5th gen and CTS could use a diet. CTS is 4,200lbs. I'm looking forward to seeing new suspension technology in a car that weighs as much as a 4th gen. It comes down to styling also. If they make it look like an import no one is going to buy it. Lack of V8 will kill it. Everyone will just get a stang. They have a great V6 in it now. It would be dumb to put a turbo 4 in there. Turbo engines are gas guzzlers too. I get the same MPG with my V8 as a MazdaSpeed3 that has a 2.3L turbo engine in it. And I have 100hp more and 400lbs more to tug around.

Turbo engines are more complicated, have more plumbing, are bigger with all that turbo stuff around it.

Camaro would be dead with a 4 cyl turbo base model and 6 cyl turbo SS. Refine the current engines but keep the N/A V6 and N/A V8 and SC V8 in the lineup.
